Joe Sparks

Senior Project Manager

Joe Sparks is a senior project manager with Western Electrical Management. He has accumulated 23 years of electrical contracting experience as an apprentice, journeyman, estimator, chief estimator, project manager and now senior project manager.

Joe has successfully completed large projects in Calgary and Edmonton including the electrical and telecommunication components of the Bow Tower, Tower E Edmonton Ice District, Calgary City Centre Building, Brookfield Place and the Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre. Joe has also proven his management capabilities while completing tenant fit-outs, medium voltage upgrades, institutional buildings and extensive renovations on occupied buildings.

Joe is an excellent leader who values his team and consistently brings out the best in people. He is highly responsive to each client’s requirements and does an exceptional job of coordinating with general contractors, consultants, trade contractors, sub-subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

Joe’s responsibilities as senior project manager include the preparation of estimates, change order pricing, shop drawings, requests for information, material review, preparation, modifications, procurement, tracking and progress billing.
