Jeromy Lonnen

Communications Manager

Jeromy Lonnen is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) with over 30 years of experience in the communications industry. He started with WEM as an apprentice in 1994 and has served as Western Electrical Management’s communications manager since 2013.

During his tenure, Jeromy has successfully managed projects at several data centres within Western Canada. He has also managed the communication components of the IOL South Campus, Brookfield Place, Calgary City Centre, and Eau Claire Tower. One of Jeromy’s many accomplishments was passing his Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) exam on the first try, despite a pass rate of under 30% for most first-time writers.

Jeromy’s methodical approach, trouble shooting capabilities and innovative thinking make him a tremendous asset to any communications project. He is also a natural leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to create positive outcomes when challenging situations arise. As a communication’s manager, Jeremy will be responsible for assisting with project estimation, reviewing project design, advising on - compliance and structured cabling design, assignment of personnel, provisioning of materials, project scheduling, materials management and cost control.
