James Betteridge
Senior Estimator
James Betteridge began working in the electrical industry in 2005 marking the beginning of a career that would see him rise through the ranks and excel in various roles. During his time in the industry, he has gone on to obtain his Red Seal Journeyman ticket, become a project foreman, move on to estimating and become a Senior Estimator.
During his time in the field as an electrician, James had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. These projects include the Oliver Bowan Maintenance facility; which allowed him to gain experience in tenant fit out, industrial installations, large scale distribution and DC voltage catenary lines. James also worked on the West LRT project installing low tension systems. As an estimator, James has budgeted and successfully bid on some very challenging and large projects, such as the Planetarium, Sobeys Voila, Sobeys Commissary and Bridgeland Care. James joined WEM in 2023 as a Senior Estimator with an ambition to work on some of the most prestigious projects that the Calgary market has to offer.
